Time Capsule

Hello folks!
In the future, if you had the chance to go back in time to tell everyone about you and bring four things that represent you, what would you bring?

  1. Bring something that would represent your childhood and family: I would bring a rope with a family photo. A rope because my family was very united. And the rope would reunite all of that big family. The photo I would bring to remember about them.
  2. Something that would represent your culture and roots: I would bring a Brazilian flag. I am from Brazil so a flag would represent my culture and roots.
  3. Bring something that would represent your accomplishments: I would bring a smile in a cardboard. I want to be happy, to make people happy.
  4. Something that would represent your legacy: I don't have a legacy yet. But by that time I would like to bring a little map. I would like to show the people the places where the people I helped live in the map, compared to where I live.
  5. Where would you put: I would put everything in a little bag. So it can travel with me everywhere I go.

Tears

(!!!!!!!!!!Warning: really deep post!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hello,
As we are reading The Glory Field, which is a book that has a lot of motifs (patterns), we were suppose to write about a motif that appears in the book and in our lives.

And the motif I chose was tears.

I chose tears because, I am a dramatic girl. I cry when I am happy, I cry when I am said. Like in The Glory Field, I cry for he people I love.  I am from Brazil, not from California, I miss my friends and family all the time. And sometimes, when my room is dark and quiet, tears come out of my eyes because I miss the people I love.

I know is dramatic, but is who I am.
