As you can see in the title, today I am here to answer if I am, or consider myself a child of the west. Well for me that is a question that can lead in multiple answers. I am from Brazil, not from the west. But as I studied a little more about it's history I felt that we all have a little bit of the west. I mean the people went to the west because they weren't happy with their life, and they did something about it. I fell that we all have to have that characteristic. If you are not happy about it, don't sit on the floor and wait for something to happen. Gandhi said once "Be the change you want to see in the world", no matter where are you from, do like the west folks did, if you are not happy about something do something to change it.

Child of the West?

Child or Grown up?
Hey folks!
Have you ever felt like a man or woman? I mean for you guys that are children, have you ever felt like a man or a woman? Well, in the book we are reading, "The Glory Field", a child find himself as a man a lot of times. And that made me think if feeling like a woman have ever happened with me. I would love to say it had and tell you everything in details, but it have not. Sometimes i think that I am a woman, but the true is I am just a girl. I will be waiting my time to shine as a woman to come. But I have no rush, after all, we are children just one time in our whole life. That is one of the little things that don't happen again, so enjoy your childhood!

Future Identity
Hello bloggers!
Today I am here to make you guys think about the future. Think about your identity in the future. When you are old, like 75 years old and you have a lot of grandchildren, what do you want them to think about when they think about you? How do you wan them to remember your identity? Do you want them to remember you as the grumpiest grandma or as the kindest one? Maybe you want them to remember you as the best lawyer, maybe you want them to remember you as the coolest grandpa.
Well when I think about my grandpas and grandmas I think that they are the kindest, the funniest ones. The best biology teacher. I think that they are going to be there for me no matter what. And that is how I want my grandchildren to remember me.
I want them to remember me, I just don't want them to forget me. I want them to remember about the nice future moments that are coming. I also want them to remember me the way I am, the way I am going to be with them. Kind, helpful, a grandma that don't make them be ashamed of themselves when they are with me. A cool, funny and cute grandma.
I don't know what we are doing in the future, but I want it to be nice. And I want to have a lot of good memories when I am 75. I just want to have lived all I had to live when I am very old. I want to make my life worth it. And is that how I want my grandchildren to remember me.

Identify your Identity
Hello everyone,
Today I am here to tell you a little bit about my identity. What are three words that describe my identity? I think that the three words might be:

Today I am here to tell you a little bit about my identity. What are three words that describe my identity? I think that the three words might be:
- Kind: kind... Why kind? The true is I don't really know why kind. Maybe because I like to help everyone with everything I can. I like to be kind to people. Maybe because I have disposition to help, to do what I need to do. Maybe because of this... Maybe because some people tell me I am kind, and I like to hear that. Well, I don't know why, but I know that I like to think I am kind. So, kind.
- Help people: as I said in my change the world post, I like to help people. I know this is not a word, but it describes my identity. It describes how I am and what I like to do. It does not matter how, it does not matter who, it does not matter when. If I can help someone I will. And there is nothing no one can do about it.

- little: I think the word little describes me because I am not tall, I am not loud, I don't have knowledge of everything. I am just a little girl in a giant world with so many questions and no answers. Looking for something that I will probably find with time. A little girl in physical aspects, a little girl compared to the world. I am like a little plant, and the only way this little plant want to grow is forward. Finding answers and discovering something new about this giant world everyday.

Change the world
Hello, guys.
Today I am here to answer a question that really interests me. How would you want to change the world if you could? We all have to agree that it is a really good question. I mean, I hope everybody wants to leave their mark in the world. As I have said in my last post I want to leave mine. But how?
I don't know how but I want to help people. It does not matter what they are giving me in exchange. I want to help them.
There are a lot of people in the world that don't have enough money to go to the school, buy cloths, or even food. People need help. And thinking about this if I could change the world, I would probably start a donation program, to help needy people. Although I don't like giving money to people, I would give them opportunity. I would give them healthy food, education, clothes anything they need. Look at this mother. She needs help and if I could I would help her. Wouldn't you do the same thing?
I would probably start making something little by donating just to one place. But if I really want to change the world I need to make this grow, and someday be able to donate to all the world. People that don't have food, it does not matter if they are starving, they just can't think, "Oh, I am tired of not having money to buy food. Now is time to rain money for me to buy food." They just can't do that, right? We have too help them. Cause if not me, if not you, if not us, them who?

Quest in life.
What is my quest in life?
Well...That is a pretty good question, that can leads in such different answers. And I am that kind of person that might have more questions than answers. I mean, nobody knows the future and with that, nobody knows where time is taking us. But one thing I am sure, is that I want to live life with joy. I want to make a lot of friends. I want to have a life that was worth. And when I am ninety years old, I want to be able to say that I did it. That I was not just here, I left my mark in the world. I want to be able to say, I am proud of what I did and I made the right choices. I also know that sometimes times I am going to fail. And I will have to stand up and continue. Life is like riding a bicycle. Sometimes you will fall, but you just can't stay in the middle of the street. You have to go forward. It does not matter how much it hurts you have to continue going. And I want to continue riding the bicycle with joy. I don't know about you, but I want to ride my bicycle next to happiness. Next to my family and friends. It does not matter in witch road I am in as long as I am happy with the people I love, I want to be there. It does not matter how many times I will fall, as long as I have people to help me get up with happiness. It does not matter how much it hurts as long as I am going where I am having a better life. The future is unknown, but what leads you there is the present.

Marcela-topia
Hello, guys!
For you, how it would be your perfect community?
Well, I don't know about you but I know about me, and I think that everyone would be welcome in my community, don't matter how you are, everyone is welcome. What really matter is what you are inside and inside everyone is the same. A better community is the one with no prejudice, where everyone respect each other. I guess I would, somehow, find a way to bring even animals to my community they are important and really cute, imagine a life without your puppy. I don't know about you but I would die.
My community, would be based in Education. As everybody will be welcome I need to be sure that all of them would have a good life with a good education. The schools would be big and good, everyone would be able to access it. It does not matter if you are poor or rich, as everyone is welcome everyone would be able to have a good education.
But how am I going to offer a good education to everybody? I guess for that I would need a really good government that helps everyone and think carefully, in a way that the government thinks to help even poor people and even poor people. That's true, I would have to be really rich, but with the cooperation of everyone it would work, and I guess it would be good.
To give a good life to everybody, I would have to provide food with good quality and drinking water. Without healthy food and water no one is able to have a good life or even live.
Now that I already have education for children, food, government, people I need jobs for the adults. Everyone is able to have the job they want but the main jobs I need are: teachers, I need someone to teach the children. I need engineers and architects, other wise who is going to build the houses? Doctors are needed as well, someone need to take care of the people's health. And last but not least farmers, we need farmers to give the healthy food and water to everyone.
I think those are the main themes I need to build my community.
